Panel 4 was originally more of a classic towering monster deal, but I decided to switch it at the last minute so I could show more of what the T’hyrma look like. I still like how it turned out, even if it did take me forever to do.
Oh! Almost forgot about the nerve damage thing. T’hyrma secrete a type of poison onto their claws that helps them take down prey. Because Kilm originated from a different world, the poison only damages some of their nerves instead of all of them because they’re wired a bit differently. In theory, what the poison would have done is knock out Jael’s sensory nerves while leaving the motor ones intact.
