Well, Ten, look at it this way: you’ve got lots of options…
Ah, the voting incentive reminds me: I thought that, perhaps, Ten would leave all confused and run into Kiva, and start talking about the horror of having someone force affection on you… and Kiva would do the furious-face-laugh until her head exploded from irony. And Ten would be even more confused
Ten is learning he’s too friendly and adorable for his own good.

WTF, so harsh, that has got to be just salt into the open wound. Hey, Ten, how about saying, “oh Jovi, you are a wonderful friend –don’t feel so bad. I’m not into guys.” Then he can say he’s just not into the sex thing…..? He is really NOT saying the right things.
Have a little sympathy. Even though he is of an alien race, the saying “He’s only human” still applies through its underlying meaning. Ten’s not a perfect individual, he’s very confused right now. It’s hard to “say the right things” when your head is filled with a million thoughts moving a mile a minute. It’s easy enough for you to say, oh he should have said this, because you are a third party looking in. It’s much harder to see what actions are “correct” to take when you are the one in the midst of the problem.
I used to be so much like Ten, it’s scary. My Wyfe is NOT a fan of this comic, because it’s too much for her. I Do sympathize, but I’m only hard on him, cause I’ve made all those mistakes – and I don’t want him to go through what I put ME through. Think: inverse schaden-freude. I Love Ten, but I ache for Jovi. This is cutting on my heart. Owww!
Just curious…. is it just this particular part of the story she doesn’t like or is it something else?

I don’t think this is Ten’s fault, y’know? I mean, he could have been more cognizant of the whole ‘differentiate flirting and being friendly’ thing, but it takes two to dance the misinterpretation tango here, doesn’t it?
Being friendly and hyposexual around -teenagers- never leads to good things…

I still do not remember proof of Tens sexuality. And still say this is a defensive thing for him, not wanting a relationship due to his condition, and him not giving a reason so there’s no pity towards him.
But thats just my guess. Back to work

We haven’t quite gotten to the NSFW parts. I might even take that down… I’m not sure. The label itself is subjective, so I was erring on the side of caution. I had it up in the first place in regards to language and mild violence. Later on there will be (not BAM right up in your face, but still talked about and obviously happening) sex, graphic violence, and a few unpleasant themes.
Actually, looking at descriptions of other comics that have similar things going on, I’m gonna take the NSFW down. Thanks for reminding me I even had that up, Anonymous person!

All I know is this means… It’s still possible Ten and Jovi to get together. XD
I just look at it like this: I’ve only really seen potential relationship chemistry between those two, others, sure, friends, but with Jovi? I can see that becoming more easily. It was also never mentioned of Ten’s sexuality (If there’s such a thing, I wouldn’t be surprised if pansexuality is the norm here due to less oddness with homosexuality), and even now Ten’s just showing confusion, not just for a male, but for a female as well.

The last few comics make me keep dreading the next ones… I seriously thought a relationship with jovi was coming up, and how awesome it would be. then this happens and I keep feeling all bummed when I read it.
Yeah, me too some. I was hoping Ten would go for it, or at least give it a shot, then I reread the spoilers on Deviant Art. ImPlied that Jovi is his BEST -Best friend. Nothing there about romance. /–(. Sad Paws is sad, for Jovi, fells bad for Ten, envious that he’s so popular.
