Someone unscrupulous might try to start taking bets on whether Don has a rage-induced stroke before or after lunch.
I’ll take 5 on after lunch, after he’s had time to comprehend the levels of chaos. Man, Ten, and I thought that your biggest worry would be frelling monsters from HELL trying to devour your SOUL.
I’d say during, when he has time to really think about everything that’s happening. Also, it occurs to me that Tattle’s the only one not in uniform, even though he could just *be* a uniform.
I wonder if anyone would wear him if he was Just a suit!?
Hmmm, interesting… Don wearing a Tattle uniform…
What if Don didn’t know he was wearing Tattle .. And then Tattle told him. Would he catatonia? panic? stroke? explode? conniption? apoplexy? Or just faint?
I want fanart on this. STAT!
What interests me is, would Don freak out because he’s been wearing Tattle, or because he suddenly realizes he’s breaking regulation by being out of uniform?
Oh, I love this. I’m putting $5 on after, his blood sugar will rise giving him the energy to spike his BP, and Frell, there he goes!
Nah, it’s definitely before. He should have already had one, if not then very soon, he’s only going to find more and more contraband.
and conspiracy theories.
Oh, I’m sure he’ll have his stroke after lunch, probably when attempting to interview every single one of the cadets in the school. He will lose his ability actually articulate anything but angry growl-like sounds well before lunch though.
Trick question. As if Don would really stop for a lunch break. Really now, he has a job to do, lunch be damned!
Hah! If there was a correct answer, this would be it.
I guess what the question means is “before or after he drinks his tea while frantically trying to deal with the situation”.
Here’s one for you: who’s DNA is going to be on that butt that Tattle just kicked up? Plus odds on if Tattle just planted it to be found?
Hhhmmm. Jovi? Jajij? Jael? I’m betting on Jael.
If I were planting evidence it would have Don’s DNA on it…
The sad thing is, it isn’t that Don’s concerns are so unreasonable (if a bunch of kids can waltz through security, what sort of murderous havoc could experienced enemy agents wreak?), but that his emotional reaction and poor relations with his staff means no-one’s taking him seriously.
They are at war, after all. If the enemy decide that sabotaging a military recruitment and training facility is a good idea, a lot of people are going to die.
I wonder if Tattle’s sense of mischief has blinded him to the danger? Or is this a complicated plan to get Don disgraced and replaced?
Don’s concerns ARE kind of unreasonable…a security professional would identify this as ‘a bunch of kids can waltz through security’ and then be less concerned with who they are and more concerned with how they did it…use this as a ‘near miss issue’ to fix holes in the system. So far Don has been portrayed as the kind that goes after the perp instead.
So is kashish like weed in level of seriousness, or is it more like cocaine? I’d look at Don’s reaction for an indication, but since he’s pretty damn upset I’m not sure whether his reaction is reasonable, and Tattle’s reaction might be… a bit relaxed.
Kashish is more like weed. I’m rereading the comic (again) and in page 31 Jael get really excited when he thinks that Ten has smuggled in some drugs (when it ended up being Malaiki).
Avsaroke then said in the page description:
“Ten didn’t spaz out about the drugs Jael was asking about because they’re not very bad ones. It would be sort of like a college student asking one of his buddies if they brought beer or pot with them. It’s not ideal behavior, but it’s not too concerning either.”
It just happened to be fortuitous that shortly after I read this comment I came upon the exact place earlier in the comic where it talked about drugs xD
I forget… Is tattle… Guy or girl…
Or does it not have a gender?
No, the Tattle’s kind do not have genders
Correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe that “flagrant disregard for the security of this instillation” should be “flagrant disregard for the security of this installation.”
