Poor Ten, just can’t seem to get a break tonight.
There’s the thing with the blues and greens, in the Twin’s fur, again. I like it. If it shows to be consistent, I could use it to tell them apart! Great page. … except,… except panel three. That hurts, to see Ten cry like this. Sneaking up on the Twins? How is that possible, even?
Colored outlines have been a thing for a while now actually! I forget when exactly it started. Its much more noticeable on these last few pages where the twins have taken up more space than normal in the panel’s and as such have had more prominent lineart.
I really do like the colored lines… Gives these two a very “etheric” quality. I guess that is kinda the point!
Well some of us are using tiny screens, and my whole experience with this comic, is that my screens don’t get bright enough to pick up all the hidden stuff. … Like since the beginning. My gear is old… And … Never mind.
Geez I never saw that either until I upped the brightness like you said on my phone. Thanks, hopefully I’ll remember when its time to reread or check out new ones.
Si glad to see another side of the twins. They’ve been getting on my nerves until now but I’m happy to see that maybe they care about Ten’s well-being to some.degree. Even if it’s still mostly for entertainment purposes.
I think that the twins have been watching out for Ten since the elevator incident. They’re on his side; I wanna know “WHY?” They’re like the Dobermans of the demonic, Rottweilers of the Celestial Realms, the Am Staffs of the Spirit Realms,… Like a couple of pages before the elevator episode….
Yeah, I just re-read way back and noticed just how often they showed up… and how they seem to have been killing shadows that seemed to be after Ten. And at one point the comic literally calls them guardian devils…
If I had to guess I’d say Ten is some kind of reborn version of their celestial parent.
Damnit, I have to wait another week to find out who it is! XD
Any good guesses, anyone?
Jael was going to make a pick-up of forbidden goodies, I’m guessing the -thump- was him dropping the bag of contraband. Most Celestials don’t make any noises, … Unless their prey is squealing, “no, no, I didn’t do it. You’ve got the wrong one, I’m innocent.”
Assuming worst case scenario… Don…
Try, to explain that you are being stalked by the twin spirits of the moon, summoned by the embodiment of death, that are real because your forbiden cat can see/sense them aswell, and also that the elevator blowing up was partially their fault… And then don’t forget to add that your stridor syndrome hasn’t kicked staged two yet ;7
Oh, gosh, yur analysis made me laugh so hard. It was spot on.
Well, I have a guess that consists of spoilers and assumptions.
Also, I don’t think it’s either Don or Jael since the Twins didn’t knew that anyone was there. I’d guees it’s at least partially of supernatural origin, since the Twins seem to be able to sense most beings.I mean, they found Ten without even knowing his position on the station ( – Wait… We’re in the basement? p.412)
Actually, i’d say it’s the other way around. There’s overwhelming evidence that Ten isn’t your regular old mortal, but rather something more, so it could be assumed that he’s actually the one the twins can sense because of that. That’s my guess, anyhow!
I bet it’s Don. Don’s gonna fuck his day up. Then something crazy is gonna happen.
… That moment when the first time you try to reply on your new account it doesn’t work, then you try to comment again, and then it pops up after you’ve commented again…
Hey there! It’s because you’re new at leaving comments. I had to manually approve the first few, but now you should be all set. 🙂
Actually, my guess is that it’s the opposite. There’s more than a little evidence towards Ten not being a regular old mortal at all, so in that respect, it would make a lot of sense for them to be able to find him easily- heck, maybe they even use him as an anchor of sorts to get to where they are in the first place! (which would make sense, considering they’re presumably bound to the moons of Kahmith.) That’s just my guess, though!
My bet is that it’s Don, then things are gonna go down the shitter, then something crazy happens and things end up partially better, partially a whole lot worse.
C’mon, he’s got Stridor’s Syndrome. He’s gotta be normal mortal.
Well, i’ve also got a theory that Stridor’s Syndrome is actually linked to his condition as a non-regular-mortal. I mean, let’s be honest here- hallucinations, pale skin, early death. If I recall correctly, Li and La wanted to drag Ten off for some training stuff. All of that, at least in my opinion, hints pretty heavily towards people with Stridor’s actually being spirits or whatever.
I knew it!
Li and La were selling drugs with Jael all along!
The universe just doesn’t let up with the surprises tonight.
