Yeah… what I said on the previous page. Nox is trying to manipulate something in order to help and/or save the Kilm, for his own reasons.
What those reasons are, remains to be seen.
I haven’t spoken up in absolutely ages, Av, but this story’s fantastic! Finally we’re seeing Li and La as something other than intouchable…
Vulnerability, responsibility, empathy… is that what we’re feeling? This is scary! We might have… have… have been… we tore those others apart but… they were… oh, sh*t!! (Li said shoot, La didn’t)
Oooo… Li and La possibly turning on Nox? I hope not. Come on, Llamadog Bois. You aren’t like the failed twins. Nox loves you—especially all the work he put into your creation.
Can we please see what Nox looks like?
Here’s a link to the page that shows all seven:
… if I can get it to link…
it was on the brink of our destruction that the gods came to us
The link doesn’t work.
Full shot Ixion page four:
on the brink>
Ha!! Click on: “on the brink>”. That linking worked. Sorry I’m typing on a tiny screen. Nox is on the Far-far right, in the robe with stars. Remember to click on the image to full-screen it.
Oh, wow… That’s totally Ten as Nox in the middle! I wonder who the rest of them are?
Here’s a link that has a picture of Nox and his children in their actual kortan forms: http://avsaroke.tumblr.com/post/173910516460/about-the-twins-part-1
There was a time when there was text with that page on a different site, saying who was which, I b’lieve that’s Vaga in the middle, so L—>R: Lilith, Neith, Sakar, Vaga, then Sivri, Temhota looking preggers, and Nox on the far right.
Unless I’m wrong again.
I’ll actually step in on this one and tell you guys something since we didn’t get a chance to see it much in the comics.
Gods don’t have a static image. They appear differently to different people. That’s why in the Ixion illustration Geneseepaws referenced, for example, Vaga appears as a cloaked corpse in war paint, on page 62 Ten sees her as a vague black shadow with glowing blind eyes, and the twins see her as a gigantic cloaked skeleton on page 397.
They can CHOOSE to appear certain ways if they want, but if they’re not being picky, their observer will see them as whatever fits their preconceived notions of what a god should look like.
To Avsaroke: thanks for the info, that makes the disparate images make sense. I wondered about how they were so different, now we know the restOf the story.
Current events were foreshadowed by 2016’s April Fool page.
Also, shortly afterwards, the twins are forcibly summoned to meet Vaga over the Slip and presumably receive their orders not to prevent Ten’s passing.
