Oh, wow… I’m so curious what Kiva and Ten look like now. So he doesn’t remember anything as a god. I suppose Nox felt it would be more convincing to be a mortal without knowing he’s a god.
Kiva and Raj remind me so much of a couple I know well. The wife had an abusive childhood and pushed him away early on when they first fell in love a lot like that. They worked hard to have a healthy relationship, and it paid off. They are one of the loving couples I know—good parents, too.
I wonder what’s up with Jael, and sundry gang mems. If Jak got charged as well?
I’m really glad for Kiva & Raj, but can’t imagine them being more famous that Maev & Luka, since she’s the highest and they’re just second year’s, but maybe visibility and notoriety trump rank and power?
I wonder if being Ten, Nox can accrue enough manna to work his miracle or if when the humans get out that far, will the Kilm only be a distant memory of the Shimsa?
I don’t know if I’m sad or glad that Nox’s memories are walled off from Ten, for the Twins’ sakes. No awkwardness there.
That page title could possibly have “the” inserted so it reads “Changed for the good” since Ten could do with being just a touch less trusting, and Kiva and Raj might never have rejoined, or at least taken far too long, if this crisis hadn’t happened.
Really liking the Kiva and Raj side story (along with everything else 🙂
Makes me smile, just to think of Kiva having some joy in her life. She’s had precious little chance at happiness with her past life. Now, is her chance to put that away— if not behind her, at long last, a chance to feel Love. So glad Avsaroke included this.
