Alright, so I went over the question and answers and (despite the wonderful fan service and great description of the space station) have a question still. You probably already answered this on a panel way back when but I missed it :3 sorry. Did you ever go over their ages? Because every time I see sketches of the main characters there are two digits present. I am assuming that they live much longer so they develop at a slower rate so that when they have lived 35 years, they are only 15 in human years….or is it the opposite way around? I’m viewing it as a sort of cat years…I’m just wondering who’s the cats is all. Thank you! SOrry for the trouble.
You got it right the first time. The aging thing IS something I left out of the FAQ page though, so thanks for pointing it out! And please, don’t be afraid to ask questions. It’s what these pages are here for.
What is the Kilmish take on homosexuality? Is it a big deal, like with humans?
For the most part, it’s not a big deal. The general consensus is that as long as it’s between consenting adults (or near-adults of similar ages) it’s perfectly fine. Of course you always have the couple of people who are the exception to the rule and take issue with it, but they’re few and far between.
Is Ten’s genetic disease caused by Recessive alleles?
Yes. All sorts of genetic tomfoolery has to happen in order for his condition to crop up. Multiple recessive alleles on different chromosomes, in fact.
The genes that trigger the disease aren’t super rare, but having all of them present in the exact right combination is, which is why it’ll turn up every so often out of the blue.
So really Ten’s parents having the perfectly horrible mix of genes to give all their children it is kinda unfair. Poor all of them, that is just horrible, for everyone involved. Lots of guilt for the parents, a long struggle for the kids! And yet Ten gives out more hugs then everybody ever combined!
